Data Driven. Rider Proven.
BikeLabs is an independent motorcycle publication. Honest opinions from people who actually ride.
What We Do
BikeLabs covers four things: gear reviews, motorcycle guides, workshop how-tos, and moto culture. Every piece of content is written to answer a real question a rider might have — not to fill a content calendar.
We test gear across different riding conditions, compare motorcycles side by side, publish step-by-step maintenance guides, and cover the routes and culture that make riding worth doing in the first place. We also build free calculators — gearing, tyre sizing, fuel range, fitment — so you can run the numbers on your own bike before spending money.
Who We Are
A small team of riders with an outsized obsession with motorcycles. We ride everything from budget Asian commuters to premium adventure bikes. We source gear globally — including from Asia, where the best value in motorcycle equipment often sits.
We're based in Southeast Asia, which gives us a different lens on riding than most Western moto media. The bikes are different here. The conditions are different. The prices are different. We write for a global audience but we don't pretend the world looks the same from every saddle.
Our Standards
- Honest verdicts. If something isn't worth buying, we say so.
- Transparency. When we test a product, we tell you how and under what conditions — see How We Test.
- Independence. We do not accept payment for coverage or verdicts. Affiliate commissions never influence a review's conclusion.
- Long-form over clickbait. Our reviews aim to be the last thing you need to read before making a decision.
How We Make Money
BikeLabs is funded by advertising and affiliate commissions. When you buy a product through one of our links, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. We disclose this on every article that contains affiliate links, and it has no bearing on what we recommend — several of our top picks earn us nothing at all.
Work With Us
We're open to working with brands on honest, rider-focused content. If you have a product you'd like reviewed or want to collaborate on a feature, reach out — we give every product a fair test and an honest write-up. What we don't offer: paid verdicts, guaranteed positive coverage, or undisclosed sponsorships.
